Persepolis banned in Lebanon

"[The Animation movie] Persepolis has been banned from being screened in Lebanon by the country's authorities.

"The animation film Persepolis by Marjan Satrapi and Vincent Paronnaud has been adapted from a novel of the same name. The black-and-white animated feature recounts Satrapi's experiences growing up in Iran during the post-revolution years.

"Persepolis was also pulled from the Bangkok International Film Festival last year at Iran's request. [...]"
