Mauritanian Author Mouhamed Lemine Ould EL KETTAB
Dr. Mouhamed Lemine Ould EL KETTAB is a Mauritanian academic, diplomat, author of many books and former rector of Nouakchott University, source of inspiration and motivation for many young Mauritanians. He is a peace-maker and the founder-chairman of the Club of Mauritanian intellectuals for Democracy & Development.
Dr. EL KETTAB is a national representative of the international publication house, L'Harmattan.
EL KETTAB said that the decline of intellectual production in terms of scientific research and the weakness of the intellectuals’ role in Mauritania are bound to the degradation of the cultural, economic and social progress that prevents any development. This statement was made during the ceremony to launch the activities of the club of the Mauritanian intellectuals for Democracy and Development held, at the Atlantic Hotel in Nouakchott city.
