Iraqi Journalist: The Resistance In Iraq Must Initiate 'Great Battles'

In an article in the London daily Al-Sharq Al-Awsat, Iraqi journalist Walid Al-Zubaydi proposed that the resistance must learn from how the Americans were expelled from Vietnam and how the French were expelled from Algeria, and must initiate "great battles" in order to overpower the U.S. occupation in Iraq.

He said that large operations would shock public opinion, "overturn the table" on the heads of those supporting the Americans' continued presence in Iraq, and refute their claim that they controlled the area.
