Iraqi MP from the Kurdish coalition Mahmoud Othman has stated that leaked information regarding the possibility of the removal of immunity from Iraqi oil funds deposited in the U.S. as well as regarding the Paris Club's intent not to cancel or reduce Iraq's international debt if it does not hasten to sign the security agreement with the U.S., is part of a U.S. pressure campaign to get it to sign the agreement.
