Iraqi government spokesman Ali Al-Dabbagh yesterday issued an announcement expressing the Iraqi government's great concern over warnings by the U.S. military of "grave consequences" that could result from Iraq's failure to sign the U.S.-Iraq security pact.
He said that it was inappropriate to strip the Iraqis of their freedom of choice or to speak with them in such a manner.
