Lebanese President Michel Suleiman will arrive in Iran today for a two-day visit, during which he is to meet with Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and other senior Iranian officials.
Individuals close to Hizbullah said that Iran is likely to offer military aid to Lebanon, including ballistic missiles.
The Lebanese daily Al-Akhbar quoted knowledgeable sources as saying that Iran had expressed willingness to examine every Lebanese request to arm itself militarily.
