Reports: Ahmadinejad Government Could Be Dismantled

The Iranian media are reporting that the Expediency Council, headed by Hashemi Rafsanjani, the main political rival of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, is discussing the removal of Justice Minister Gholam Hossein Elham, who is currently serving in several positions in contravention of the constitution.

If he is removed, Ahmadinejad will be forced to disband his government and ask the Majlis for confidence in a new government.
