The Qatari daily Al-Arab reported, citing high-level Egyptian sources, that there is a trend among the moderate Arab countries to convene a limited Arab summit in Riyadh with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and the leaders of the GCC member countries, "with the aim of stopping the massacre in Gaza."
According to the report, Syria and Qatar, which called for an emergency Arab summit, will not be participating.
