Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmad Abu Al-Gheit has accused Iran of attempting to sow division among the Arabs, and to recruit Arab countries for its aims, including for reducing pressure on it over its nuclear program.
He said that if the Arabs arrive at agreements in advance of the Doha summit, scheduled for later this month, then the summit will be a success – but that if the external influence continues, many problems will emerge.
