An Iraqi official source has reported that, during Turkish President 'Abdullah Gul's visit to Iraq, discussions focused on the issues of Turkey's military aid to Iraq and the establishment of an Iraqi-Turkish-U.S. committee to manage the conflict with the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in Northern Iraq.
This is the first time in 33 years that a Turkish president has visited Iraq.
