In a lecture at the University of Damascus, former Lebanese prisoner Samir Al-Kuntar stated that the Lebanese Resistance (i.e., Hizbullah) never had and never will spare any effort to help the Palestinian resistance, and that it was no secret that there was an ongoing coordination between Syria, the Palestinian jihad forces, and the Lebanese jihad forces.
He went on to warn that any foolish act against Lebanon on Israel's part would bring a decisive victory to the Resistance, and expressed hope that this would happen in the near future.
He stressed that Syria and Hizbullah fighters were well prepared for the coming battle.
