In the wake of the exposure of the Hizbullah cell in Egypt, a lawsuit has been filed in Egypt demanding to take Hizbullah's Al-Manar TV off the air, and to revoke its license to broadcast on the Egyptian satellite channel Nilesat. The lawsuit stated that "the Shi'ite channel Al-Manar, Hizbullah's mouthpiece, has lately begun to air false reports about Egypt, and to describe it as a U.S. agent and as working to promote Jewish interests and the Zionist agenda…"
