The ISI Warns the U.S. Not to Search for Their Captured Soldiers
On May 14, 2007 the Islamic State of Iraq issued a second communiqué titled: “The War Scale Tips Once Toward You and Once Toward Us.” In it the ISI mocks the official spokesman of the “Crusader forces… for looking pale and speaking in a weak voice” after the American soldiers were taken hostages, “[compared] with his haughtiness” on the day he announced the killing of the ISI’s official spokesmen, Al-Jaburi. The message adds that “the American soldier who was presented by the American false propaganda as undefeatable was humiliated by the monotheists of the ISI. The message concludes with a warning for the Americans: “Your soldiers have been captured by us and if you are concerned for their safety don’t search for them.” (Islamist website Tajdeed)
