Former Bush Official Proposes Establishing a Group of Three – U.S., China, Saudi Arabia

The former director of the Middle East Department in the National Security Council in the Bush administration, Flynt Leverett, has recommended the establishment of a new economic grouping comprising the U.S., China and Saudi Arabia.

He said the recent crisis has demonstrated the strength and stability of the kingdom’s economy.
