Khaled Mash'al has been reelected for a fourth term as head of Hamas's political bureau. Also elected were three new members: Mahmoud Al-Zahhar, Khalil Al-Haya, and Nizar Awadhalla.
Their election is considered to be reinforcement for the extremist stream in Hamas, which is close to the movement's military wing.
