In an interview with the official Syrian news agency, on the eve of his visit to Syria on May 16, Turkish President Abdullah Gul praised Turkey-Syria relations, saying that there is full cooperation between them, and that their positions regarding the Arab-Israeli conflict, Lebanon, and Iraq are shared.
He added that Syria is the key to the solution of all problems in the region, and cannot be ignored.
