Prince Mishal bin 'Abdallah bin Abd Al-'Aziz, governor of the Najiran area in southern Saudi Arabia, reported that Saudi King 'Abdallah bin 'Abd Al-'Aziz has given Shi'ite residents of Najiran lands totaling 1,188 square km.
According to the reports, the aim of the land giveaway plan is to strengthen security along the Saudi-Yemeni border.
