Turkish deputy chief of staff Hassan Igsiz has left for Damascus to meet with Syrian Defense Minister Ali Habib, Chief of Staff Daoud Rajha, and Interior Minister Said Sammour.
The topic of the meetings is increasing security cooperation between the two countries.
