Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir will inaugurate, on July 5, the completion of the first Sudanese-produced airplane.
The plane, known as Safat 10, was produced by Jiyad Company, a wholly government-owned company. Sudan plans to produce 50 planes in the next five years.
The production was carried out by Sudanese engineers with partners from Russia and China.
