Protestors Storm Iranian Embassy in Sweden; British Embassy Employees Arrested in Tehran

On June 26, 2009, about 150 protesters demonstrated against the events in Iran outside the Iranian embassy in Stockholm, some of whom even broke into the building.

Iran's ambassador in Iran, Rasoul Eslami, blamed the incident on the Iranian oppositionist organization Mojahedeen-e Khalq, on communist Iranian exiles and on supporters of the deposed Shah Pahlavi.

The Iranian website Asr-e Iran reports, citing the Iranian news agency Fars, that eight employees of the British embassy in Tehran have been arrested for organizing protests.
