At an August 1, 2009 Basij conference in Mashhad, Ahmadinejad said that, after the new government is sworn in, "we will grab out opponents by the throat and stick them to the ceiling."
Al-Arabiya TV reports that Ahmadinejad plans to serve as intelligence minister, instead of Mohseni-Ejei, whom he fired last week.
