Diplomatic sources report that the Arab League foreign ministers decided, in their meeting today, to hold a tripartite meeting with Turkey, Syria, and Iraq in Istanbul to discuss the Syria-Iraq crisis.
At the same time, Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa will coordinate with Turkey for a series of meetings between Syrian and Iraqi representatives to deal with the crisis.
It was also agreed that the Iraqi and Syrian foreign ministers would act to return their ambassadors to each other’s countries.
