Gulf Countries Plan Construction of Airport in London

According to the British Daily Mail, Kuwait, Qatar and the UAE have submitted to the City of London a plan to construct a new airport in an area known as Times Delta, at an estimated cost of £40 billion (about $60 billion).

The project will require 10 years to complete and would eventually replace Heathrow Airport, situated west of London.

The Chinese government is also interested in financing the project. The planned airport will require no taxpayer money.
