Following the October 12 explosion in the village of Teir Felsay, in southern Lebanon, the Lebanese Option Gathering, a small anti-Hizbullah Shi'ite group, issued a communiqué calling for removing UNIFIL from southern Lebanon and accusing it of providing support for Hizbullah's violations of Resolution 1701 and of not properly fulfilling its role.
