The Qatari daily Al-Sharq has published the appendix to the Palestinian reconciliation document drawn up by Egypt, the "Charter of Honor," which includes sections discussing "the Palestinian people's right to resistance and to rising up against the occupation, and to the preservation of the resistance and its weapons against the occupation."
The paper wonders whether Fatah has signed a charter that contradicts the Road Map to which it and the Palestinian Authority are committed, since the Road Map states that the resistance and its armed wings must be disarmed.
