Egyptian People's Council Member Dr. Gamal Zahran responded to an announcement by U.S. Ambassador to Cairo Margaret Scobey that the U.S. was planning to establish free schools for gifted students in Egypt.
Zahran said that this move represented the return of American imperialism and was a threat to Egypt's national security.
