Speaking to journalists who accompanied him on his October 28-29 visit to Croatia, Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad welcomed the Iran-Turkey rapprochement, which began with Syria's help.
He said that the most prominent change in the U.S.'s attitude towards Syria is in its rhetoric, and that so far no significant steps have been taken.
Referring to the postponement of the signing of the EU cooperation agreement, Al-Assad said that no agreement should be signed that does not serve the interests of the country and harms the generations to come.
