Prince Khaled bin Sultan, assistant Saudi defense minister and the son of Prince Sultan, defense minister, has said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has sufficient defensive missiles to protect its vital [oil] installations.
The statement was made during military exercises that tested advanced Patriot missiles against ground-to-ground ballistic missiles.
When asked whether the exercise was meant to send a message to countries that fire ballistic missiles, Khaled replied: "The Kingdom does not wish to interfere in the affairs of the other countries, but neither does it wish other countries to interfere in her affairs."
