Saudi planes attacked today positions of Houthi rebels who infiltrated into the south of Saudi Arabia from Yemen, as part of efforts to clear the area of Houthi squads.
Cannon and heavy machine guns were also used in the attack.
Saudi sources say that all efforts will be made to remove the Houthis from the region, and stressed that the bombings and attacks by the Saudi miltary were carried out only on its own soil, in contrast to reports that areas in Yemen were also attacked.
