Assad: Resistance Is a National Duty

At the 25th Economic Summit of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, held November 9 in Turkey, Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad said that resistance is a national duty and that supporting it is a moral and religious obligation.

He added that Syria still persists in its desire for a just and comprehensive peace, but that the failure of negotiations to restore all the rights means the adoption of resistance as an alternative solution.

He also called to support the steadfastness of the Palestinians in every possible way.
