The Academy of Islamic Research at Al-Azhar has banned distribution of the book "Palestine: A Matter of Jihad," edited by Qassem 'Abdallah, claiming that the book criticizes the Israeli-Egyptian peace agreement and the past and current silence of Arab leaders vis-à-vis the aggression against the Palestinian people and Islam's holy sites.
