Iranian Daily: Corruption In Gasoline Rationing

An editorial in the conservative Iranian daily Jomhouri-ye Eslami, which is affiliated with the religious seminaries in the city of Qom, criticized the government of President Ahmadinejad for refusing to learn from past lessons.

According to the editorial, the majority of the Iranian people agrees with the need for rationing gasoline [introduced early this month] but is disappointed with the corrupt distribution policies, and with the government for distancing itself from the people and not being aware of their disappointment.
