Upon his return from Cairo, Iranian Majlis speaker Ali Larijani said that Iran and Egypt, the two most important countries in the Islamic world, shared a joint strategy, and that the disagreements between them were strictly tactical.
He added that Iran should maximize the capability of the Islamic world in order to fight Israel.
Three members of the Majlis National Security Committee said that Iran was interested in renewing relations with Egypt, but that this depended on what Egypt decides to do about the wishes of the U.S. and Israel.
