In response to an appeal by Yemeni President 'Abdallah Saleh, the Houthi rebels have announced that they are ready for dialogue and that they accept the president's conditions, which include the cessation of hostilities towards Saudi Arabia.
In a meeting with 'Abdallah, U.S. General David Petraeus conveyed a message from President Obama regarding the Yemeni-American cooperation in the war against terror.
