Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that the meeting in Riyadh between Saudi Foreign Minister Saudi Al-Faisal and Hamas Political Bureau Head Khaled Mash'al, as well PA President Mahmoud 'Abbas' imminent visit to Turkey, were part of these two countries' efforts to promote intra-Palestinian reconciliation.
Hamas Prime Minister Isma'il Haniya denied the claim, made by 'Abbas, that Hamas was willing to sign the reconciliation agreement in some country other than Egypt. Haniya said that his movement would sign the Egypt and nowhere else.
