PA negotiations department head Saeb 'Ariqat, who recently made a secret visit to Syria, has conveyed to PA President Mahmoud 'Abbas an invitation from Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad to visit Damascus.
Palestinian sources said that 'Abbas will not meet with the heads of Hamas in Syria before they sign the inter-Palestinian reconciliation agreement.
