Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki has said that there is disagreement between his country and Egypt over Egypt's attempt to force its views on the Palestinian issue and the position of a single Palestinian group (i.e. Fatah) on the other group (Hamas).
He also warned Saudi Arabia that the battles in Yemen are likely to spill over into its own territory, and stated that during his January 11 visit to Syria he had discussed the U.S.'s intent to turn Yemen into another Afghanistan.
