The Syrian government daily Teshreen stated that, in his current visit to the region, Special Middle East Envoy George Mitchell has sabotaged any chance of renewing the negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians. This, because he and the American administration accept all the preconditions demanded by Netanyahu's government, which contravene the foundations of peace, but define the Palestinians' justified demands as an obstacle.
