Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad and Libyan leader Mu'ammar Al-Qaddafi decided during a meeting yesterday in Tripoli to establish a supreme joint strategic council for their countries.
They called on the Arab countries to act to resolve disputes among them, in advance of the Arab summit set to convene in Libya in March.
