The Qatari daily Al-Sharq reports that Qatar-Syrian diplomatic and economic relations are warming up, and that in the next few years Qatar is expected to invest $12 billion in Syria.
It was reported that Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad is to visit Qatar tomorrow, January 28, to kick off the "Doha- Arab Cultural Capital for 2010" festivities.
