Rafsanjani: NATO Forces On Iran's Border Endanger Iran

Iranian Expediency Council chairman Hashemi Rafsanjani has said that the deployment of NATO forces in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Azerbaijan will constitute a serious threat to Iran, and that the deployment of U.S. missiles in the Gulf countries will harm those countries

He said that he accepts the authority of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, and that his relations with him are excellent, despite attempts by elements in Iran to stir up disputes between them.

Mohammad Alavi, Iranian Air force lieutenant commander for operations, said that Iran has means to deflect U.S. Patriot missiles in the Gulf from their trajectory, and also other means that it is not disclosing.
