The Saudi education minister has decided to hold meetings with his deputies and male and female teachers – the first Education Ministry meeting to be attended by both men and women.
The meeting will be held as part of the minister's program to bring about gender mixing in the educational sector.
Saudi clerics who oppose the move have called for prosecuting the minister.
