Following Germany's refusal to extradite Abdolrahman Hajj Ahmadi, leader of the Kurdish separatist organization PJAK, and his subsequent release, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said that Europe had become a safe haven for terrorists.
The Iranian daily Jomhouri-e Eslami stated that Iran would from now on view the German authorities as accomplices to PJAK's crimes.
