An Iranian columnist for the Syrian government daily Teshreen wrote that at the February 25 summit in Damascus, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad, and Hizbullah secretary-general Hassan Nasrallah discussed the addition of Iraq to the resistance front, as well as its transformation into a main element in wiping Israel off the map.
He wrote that they had also discussed incorporating Turkey into this plan.
