The editor of the Syrian government daily Al-Thawra wrote that the late Egyptian president Anwar Sadat sold the Arabs, Palestine, and the accomplishments of the 1973 war for the Sinai and for the raising of the Israeli flag in Cairo.
He added that the Egypt-Israel peace agreement was the greatest defeat in modern Arab history.
