The Lebanese daily Al-Nahar reports that a former operative in the Lebanese internal security services filed a lawsuit on March 6 against senior Syrian officers who served in Lebanon, headed by then-director of Syrian intelligence in Lebanon Jame' Jame'.
According to the plaintiff, in 1991 the officers abducted him, tortured him, and detained him for years in a Syria prison.
It was reported that soon similar lawsuits will be filed in Lebanon against many Syrian officers.
