At a meeting with Syrian Minister of Trade and Economy Lamia Al-'Asi, Egyptian Industry and Foreign Trade Minister Rashid Muhammad Rashid said that the two countries wanted to advance cooperation between them.
The two agreed on establishing a joint company for attracting investment, opening Egyptian banks in Syria and vice versa, and setting up a hotline between the two ministries to deal with the problems of Egyptian and Syrian exporters.
