The Egyptian daily Al-Masryoon reports, citing senior sources, that Egypt has decided to stop all contacts with Hamas leaders in the territories and abroad, to not issue them visas to enter Egypt for the upcoming period, and to freeze all channels of diplomatic and security communications with them.
According to the sources, the move is not connected to Hamas's refusal to sign the Palestinian reconciliation agreement, but in response to its recent anti-Egypt defamation campaign.
