Speaking after the burial of his son who was murdered by the Taliban, Mian Iftikhar Hussain, the Minister for Press and Information in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, has vowed to defeat the Taliban and has called upon the Pakistani nation to unite against them, according to an Urdu-language daily.
Hussain expressed his resolve to continue the fight the "war against the [Taliban's] parochial mindset and thought" according to a report in the Urdu-Language daily Roznama Jasarat.
The minister said that his son wasn't murdered because of any personal or tribal enmity but because of his [i.e. the minister's] role in the war against the terrorists.
