Egyptian Deputy Foreign Minister Hassin Dharar met today in Cairo with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister 'Abbas 'Araqadhi to examine a renewal of relations between the two countries.
According to a report in the London-published Saudi daily Al-Sharq Al-Awsat, the meeting was to lay the groundwork for a meeting of the countries' foreign ministers.
